I go down the gangway and leave the ship. A new life in Namibia is about to begin. My thanks go to everyone on the Bright Sky.
17.2.2019 – Walvis Bay
The Bright Sky reaches Walvis Bay and I reach my destination. But I stay on board for another day. I’m not on the journey anymore, but not ashore either.
16.2.2019 – In Namibian waters
The Bright Sky has reached Namibian waters. I have to say goodbye to the flying fish, but I see several birds and dolphins.
15.2.2019 – In the Benguela Current
I spend most of the day on the bow balcony watching flying fish, shearwaters and dolphins.
14.2.2019 – About physics and dolphins
Despite the bad weather I go outside and have an immediate encounter with some dolphins. Furthermore I think about physics.
13.2.2019 – The Southern Cross
I describe the way to the bow of the Bright Sky and tell you how I spend the afternoon there – looking for animals and entertaining with all sorts of people.
